Our FCC Pepper C1 RFID/NFC Readers with integrated antenna, as well as our Pepper C1 module, have full modular approval from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for use in equipment supplied and installed in the USA.
Our Pepper C1s with FCC approval are still low cost and have the same great features such as:
- Full RFID/NFC read write device (MIFARE® Classic® in 1K, 4K memory, ICODE®, MIFARE Ultralight®, MIFARE DESFire® EV1/EV2, MIFARE Plus® support)
- Wireless connectivity capabilities (can also be disabled)
- Supports Wi-Fi, WPAN Classic (SPP Profile) and WPAN Low Energy interfaces
- Has 4 variations of wired interfaces – USB, UART, RS485 and RS232
- Several wireless interfaces available: TCP Client/Server, MQTT, REST API, Web Socket
- Free lifetime over the air updates
