HF (13.56 MHz)

Eccel Technology’s external antennas support 13.56 MHz HF NFC/RFID frequencies, enabling versatile tag reading beyond the reader enclosure. These robust PCB designs come in varied sizes with shielded cables for easy integration into industrial, access control, vending, and payment systems. Choose from standard or custom options to match your precise read range and environmental needs.

External RFID NFC antennas from Eccel Technology operate at 13.56 MHz and are designed to work with our RFID/NFC readers such as RFID A1, RFID B1, and Pepper C1 / Pepper C1 MUX. They make it easy to bring the read field outside the device enclosure, extend the effective range, and precisely define the area in which a tag will be detected.

We offer a family of PCB antennas with different coil and board dimensions (for example 25 × 25 mm, 50 × 50 mm, 80 × 80 mm and elongated 10 × 50 mm options) with shielded cables of 300 mm or 800 mm terminated with JST PHR-3 / PHR-4 or coaxial cable with uFL connectors for quick connection to the reader. This construction ensures stable electrical parameters, high sensitivity, and repeatability in industrial, vending, POS and access-control applications.

The antennas are specifically designed for HF RFID/NFC operation (ISO14443, ISO15693) in typical use cases such as contactless payments, identification of cards and wristbands, ticketing and loyalty systems. With carefully selected inductance and coil geometry, they are easy to match to the reader front-end and help achieve optimal read range as well as fast and reliable tag detection.

On request, we can customise PCB antennas by changing the coil shape or dimensions, inductance, cable length, or PCB colour (for example green, red, blue, black or white) to simplify integration into the final product enclosure. If you need a dedicated RFID/NFC solution, we can help you choose or design an antenna tailored to your specific application and operating environment.
