The MUX ANT1356-25×25 is a purpose-built 13.56 MHz PCB antenna designed for use ONLY with our Pepper C1 MUX readers. It provides a convenient, ready-to-connect antenna solution for multi-antenna RFID/NFC installations based on the Pepper C1 MUX platform.
The antenna board measures 25 × 25 mm, with overall PCB dimensions of 34 × 34 mm. It is supplied with a shielded two-core microphone-type cable and a 3-pin connector (JST PHR-3, RS Stock No. 820-1475). Cable lengths of 300 and 800 mm are available, allowing the most suitable version to be selected for the intended installation.
Important installation information
The PCB contains the antenna-matching network. The supplied antenna cable is also an integral part of the tuned RF circuit, so it must not be shortened, extended or replaced with a different cable. Cutting or modifying the cable will detune the antenna’s resonant frequency and may severely reduce read/write range and overall RFID performance.
Choose the required cable length when ordering and install the antenna as a complete, unmodified assembly. If a different cable length is required, use the appropriate factory-supplied antenna version rather than altering the cable. The antenna should also be mounted away from metal and other materials that may affect tuning, unless its performance has been verified in the final installation environment.
