From designing and prototyping to mass manufacturing and production, Eccel have recently delivered over 2800 units of the Chilli USB B1 Module, bridging the gap between high quality and low cost, the Chilli USB is one of the most effective modules Eccel has released to the market.
The Chilli USB-B1 Module is a full RFID/NFC read/write device with a UART interface that can operate in “host”- connected” or “stand alone” mode. It supports the MIFARE Classic® 1K, MIFARE Classic® 4K, NTAG2xx® and MIFARE Ultralight®. Additionally, you can read the serial numbers from MIFARE Plus®, MIFARE® DESFire®
The key features for the Chilli USB B1 Module are:
- USB interface (FTDI virtual COM port, micro-USB connector)
- Integrated antenna
- USB powered with an LED , LED for notification of detection of in-range RFID transponders.

This an ideal choice if the user wishes to enhance the RFID capability to their design quickly and easily. The device enables high performance RFID solutions and can be used for development, without the user being required to have in depth knowledge of RFID.
The module is an expansion of the RFID B1 module- 13.56 MHz sub-assemblies from Eccel Technology. The product is designed with both embedded applications and computing/PLC platforms in mind. Industry applications of the Chilli board may include:

Eccel can deliver large quantities of the Chilli USB B1 Module whether that would a be-spoke design to match customer expectations or our standard design.
