RFID NFC OEM MICODE RS232 TURBO

The OEM MICODE RS232 TURBO reader is a new generation OEM MICODE product. Most of the features of the old OEM MICODE products are supported, but also included are most of the RFID features of the Pepper C1 range, which gives much better RFID performance.

So, this is an ideal design choice for replacing old products, with a migration option to our new Pepper C1 interface. With the C1 binary interface you can read/write most of the tags available on the market not just read their UID, like on the old MICODE products.

The new devices support firmware updates, so all new features requested by users or bug fixes can be uploaded to the module later.

By default, the new reader works the same as old OEM MICODE readers, with built in polling mode, UID output over serial connection, programmable “BEEP” output for external control. In addition to this, new products have the option to change baud rate from 9600 to 115200 in RWD MICODE compatibility mode.

The OEM MICODE RS232 Reader Board is a complete Read/Write system for ISO/IEC 14443A MIFARE Classic® 1K, MIFARE Classic® 4K, MIFARE Ultralight® and ISO/IEC 15693 ICODE® SLI, DESFire® and Mifare Plus® cards and tags. It has an integrated PCB track antenna, LEDs, TTL serial and I/O interface and is available in two versions; with RS232 connector or USB (RS232 interface version requires 5 V supply, USB version uses USB bus for power supply).
