The 54 × 35 × 8 mm UHF RFID Tally Tag is a compact, mechanically mounted transponder for industrial asset identification. Its metal-bodied rectangular format incorporates four fixing holes, allowing a stable installation on suitable equipment, frames, containers and other high-value assets. The raised central RFID area is designed to separate and protect the transponder while supporting performance on metallic surfaces.

This passive UHF tag requires no battery and can be detected without optical line of sight. It is therefore well suited to asset registers, inspection rounds, maintenance control, warehouse operations, rental fleets and returnable transport equipment. A programmed EPC or other identifier can connect the physical item to service records, ownership details, location data or workflow status in an RFID management platform.

The four-point fixing pattern is useful where vibration, dirt or surface condition makes an adhesive label impractical. Select screws or rivets appropriate for the asset and operating environment, and verify hole spacing, fastener clearance and installation torque before production. The tag should not be treated as a structural component.

Available UHF options may support EPC Class 1 Gen 2 / ISO/IEC 18000-6C operation in the frequency band required for the destination market. Read range is application-specific and is affected by the selected chip, reader power, antenna, asset geometry, mounting position, orientation and nearby materials. Sample testing on the final object is strongly recommended.

Please contact sales@eccel.co.uk to confirm the chip, memory, regional tuning, material, IP and impact ratings, mounting dimensions, encoding options, MOQ and lead time, or to request a bespoke quotation.
