The 30 × 15 mm EM4305 LF RFID Ear Tag is a compact electronic identification tag intended for livestock traceability and animal management applications. Its two-part format is designed for attachment to the ear using a compatible applicator, creating a visible and electronically readable identifier for an individual animal. Typical uses include herd records, breeding programmes, feeding management, veterinary history and movement tracking.
Built around the EM4305 transponder, the tag operates in the low-frequency RFID range and can be read without optical line of sight. LF technology is well suited to short-range identification and is generally less sensitive than higher-frequency systems to the presence of water and biological tissue. This supports dependable identification in farms, holding areas, veterinary facilities and livestock handling systems.
The compact yellow housing makes the tag easy to locate visually while keeping its footprint small. The electronic identifier can be linked to records in farm-management or traceability software, reducing manual data entry and helping operators retrieve the correct information at the point of care or processing.
Frequency, coding format and compliance must match the intended reader and local animal-identification scheme. An EM4305 chip alone does not guarantee regulatory approval or compatibility with every ISO 11784/11785 system; please confirm the required FDX-B or project-specific configuration before ordering. Read distance also depends on the reader, antenna, orientation and installation conditions.
Please contact sales@eccel.co.uk to confirm frequency, coding, material, colour, applicator compatibility, minimum order quantity and lead time, or to discuss pre-programmed identifiers for your project.
