UHF RFID On-Metal Screw Tag

The 34 × 34 × 28.5 mm UHF RFID On-Metal Screw Tag combines a robust metal body with a threaded mounting stud for secure attachment to industrial assets. Its bolt-style design is ideal where adhesive labels may be unsuitable, providing a fixed RFID identity for machinery, tooling, returnable transport items, metal containers and other equipment with a compatible threaded mounting point.

The RFID element is engineered for operation on metal, where ordinary UHF labels can become detuned and deliver poor performance. Once installed, the passive tag can be identified without batteries and without direct line of sight. This supports faster stock checks, asset audits, maintenance workflows and equipment verification, while reducing reliance on barcodes or printed serial numbers that may become damaged or obscured.

The hexagonal head provides a practical installation profile, and the threaded stud helps create a repeatable mechanical fixing. Before ordering, confirm the required thread size, available mounting depth and clearance around the tag. Do not use the tag as a structural fastener unless that use has been specifically approved; installation torque and mechanical load limits must follow the final product specification.
UHF configurations may be available for regional frequency bands with EPC Class 1 Gen 2 / ISO/IEC 18000-6C compatible chips. Actual read range depends on the IC, reader and antenna, mounting geometry, nearby materials and tag orientation, so testing on the target asset is recommended.
