The 70 × 15 × 1.5 mm UHF RFID Laundry Tag is a slim, flexible transponder developed for identifying textiles throughout repeated handling and laundry workflows. It can be integrated into linen, uniforms, workwear, towels and other fabric items, giving each article a contactless identity for stock control, issue and return, sorting, wash-cycle records and lifecycle management.
UHF RFID enables multiple tagged items to be identified quickly without scanning each visible barcode individually. This can improve efficiency in commercial laundries, hotels, hospitals, care facilities, factories, uniform rental operations and other organisations managing large textile inventories. The narrow white format can be positioned in a seam, sewn into a small pocket or installed using an approved method appropriate to the selected tag version.
The passive tag contains no battery and is intended to operate with EPC Class 1 Gen 2 / ISO/IEC 18000-6C compatible UHF systems. Chip, memory and frequency configuration may be selected to suit the project. Actual read range depends on the reader, antenna, stack density, textile type, moisture, orientation and installation.
Industrial laundry environments expose tags to water, chemicals, pressure and short periods of elevated temperature. The exact wash count, sterilisation, drying, ironing, pressure and chemical-resistance limits vary between visually similar products and must be confirmed for this supplied model. Do not publish a cycle-life or temperature claim until the production specification has been approved.
Please contact sales@eccel.co.uk to confirm the chip, installation method, validated laundry ratings, encoding and printing options, MOQ and lead time, or to request samples for testing in your real wash process.
