    The OEM MICODE TURBO reader is a complete Read/Write system for ISO14443A MIFARE Classic® 1K, MIFARE Classic® 4K, MIFARE Ultralight® and ISO15693 ICODE® SLI, MIFARE DESFire®, MIFARE Plus®, NTAG® cards and tags. It has an integrated PCB track antenna, LEDs, TTL serial and I/O interface and is available in two versions; with RS232 connector or USB (RS232 interface version requires 5 V supply, USB version uses USB bus for power supply).

1. What frequency ranges do RFID modules support?
Our modules support a variety of frequency ranges depending on the model – typically LF (125 kHz), HF (13.56 MHz), and UHF (860-960 MHz).
2. What wireless protocols are available?
The Pepper C1 family support wireless connectivity options such as Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n) and BR/EDR + LE (Classic and Low Energy). There is an option to easily integrate another wireless technology like LoRaWAN, GSM or Zigbee.
3. What reader has the lowest power consumption?
If your project requires very low power consumption, choose one of the modules: B1, C1, or C2. The RFID B1 module has the lowest power consumption – down to 20nA in deep sleep mode.
4. Are the readers compatible with NFC tags?
Yes, our 13.56 MHz RFID readers support NFC communication standards such as ISO15693 and ISO14443A
5. How is the firmware updated?
Firmware can usually be updated via USB, serial, or over-the-air (OTA) depending on the model.
6. Can the readers be integrated with IoT systems?
Yes, many models feature serial, USB, or wireless (Wi Fi and BR/EDR+LE) options suitable for IoT integration.
